This statement represents our identity, and is the litmus test by which we will consider future projects.

The mission of the Werribee Theatre Company is to create opportunities for community participation in amateur theatre.  

Our focus is on giving the public a well-balanced theatrical season, and striving to meet with excellence all of the demands placed on a community theatre.

The company will accomplish its mission by:

                                              1. Producing one or more quality theatrical productions each year.

                                              2.Providing fun and entertainment to the community through live theatre.

                                              3.Creating opportunities for members of our community to develop talents

in all aspects of live theatre.  

                                             4. Providing hands-on learning opportunities in all aspects of theatre production.

                                             5. Generating the necessary financial resources and efficiently managing those

resources in support of our goals.

To ensure that our goals remain fresh and relevant, we will review and re-affirm our Mission Statement

each year at the time of our Annual General Meeting.
